Problems that Fight Back!

“A problem worthy of attack, proves its worth by fighting back!” – Paul Erdos

One of the greatest mathematicians of the 20th Century, Paul Erdos, is often associated with the following rhyme: “A problem worthy of attack, proves its worth by fighting back!”  This page is dedicated to these types of problems.  Originally geared to high school students, these problems have provided many parents with the same challenge as their children. So, take a look around and have some fun.  Of course, if you have any suggestions for these problems or new ones to offer, please leave a comment or contact me at: musingsonmath@gmail.com.
